It must be 40 years since I had a day out at the seaside! We went to Worthing a
nd had a lovely day. Beautiful weather, decent food and a pleasant pier all made for a very nice day out.
This kite-surfer put on a fantastic display. He is actually over the water in this photo. The photo was taken from the end of the pier.
These seagulls were just standing around looking bored when a couple of kids tried to annoy me by throwing stones.
They looked quite surprised when I turned around and thanked them!!!
The seagulls are quite tame!

Just outside Worthing, there is a fascinating Catholic church. The exterior looks totally unassuming, but you get a shock when you go inside. The Ceiling is a scaled replica of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. The stained glass windows, alter and tabernacle were all scrounged by a very astute priest.
