The SFP Transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules for serial optical data communications applications specified for a single mode at 1.25/2.5Gbps. They operate with +3.3V/5V power supplies and are intended for single mode or multi-mode fibre, operating at a nominal wavelength of 1310(850) nm. Each SFP Transceiver consists of a transmitter optical subassembly, a receiver optical subassembly and an electrical subassembly. SFP Transceivers are duplex SC/ LC designed for use in Gigabit Ethernet and to provide an IEEE-802.3z compliant link for 1.25/2.5Gbps short or long reach applications.

Fibre Attenuator

An attenuator is an electronic device that reduces the amplitude or power of a signal without appreciably distorting its waveform. They are usually passive devices made from simple voltage divider networks. Fixed attenuators in circuits are used to lower voltage, dissipate power, and to improve impedance matching. In measuring signals, attenuator pads or adaptors are used to lower the amplitude of the signal a known amount to enable measurements, or to protect the measuring device from signal levels that might damage it. Attenuators are also used to 'match' impedances by lowering apparent SWR.

We offer 1 ~ 20dB and standard attenuation values at 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 dB with FC, ST, SC or LC type connectors.
